Apex Billing

Self-billing VAT invoicing raised on suppliers' behalf, automated end to end — removing a reconciliation job that consumed days every month.

The problem

Self-billing — where the buyer raises the VAT invoice on the supplier's behalf — is common in recruitment, logistics and construction, and it is almost always run on spreadsheets. The VAT treatment has to be right for both parties, the numbering has to be sequential and auditable, and any mismatch surfaces months later during a VAT inspection.

The approach

A VAT engine that generates compliant self-billed invoices from imported activity data, with sequential numbering, an audit trail and per-supplier agreements held on file. CSV import means it fits around whatever system already produces the underlying activity, rather than demanding a replacement.

Who built it

Apex Billing was founded and built by Abdul Rehman Sandhu, a qualified accountant and technology advisor working with businesses globally. The same diagnostic approach behind this venture is the one applied in client engagements.
